SELECTION PROCESS

Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Written Test followed by a Skill / Competency Test, as detailed below:

• 1st Stage: Written Test: In first stage, a Written Test of Total 100 marks, comprising of multiple-choice questions, covering relevant subject / discipline, will be conducted. The duration of the Test will be upto 120 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The qualifying marks are: 40% marks in case of General/EWS category and 30% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates will be shortlisted at an approved call ratio for 2nd stage Test.
• 2nd Stage: Skill / Competency Test: In 2nd stage, a Skill / Competency Test of total 100 marks in respective discipline will be conducted. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in case of General/EWS category and 30% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates shall be selected on the basis of the merit in the Written Test, subject to the condition that the candidate qualifies in the Skill / Competence Test.
• Test Center: Both the 1st and 2nd Stage Tests shall be conducted at Test Centres in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The address of the venue will be notified through the admit card.
